July 31st 2019 marked the official kickoff to our BE THE ONE campaign! We appreciate the support from our community and all who attended this event! Special thank you to Janet Heim for attending and covering our campaign kickoff. Please take a moment to read this article from The Hearld-Mail.
Keynote speaker, Amanda Messer, from Beacause I Said I would spoke on how promises made and kept are what lead to the betterment of humanity. Co-chairs Tim Troxell and Heather Guessford revealed BE THE ONE along with the annual campaign goal of one million dollars.
JUST A FEW EXAMPLES OF HOW YOU CAN BE THE ONE:

Host a workplace campaign.

Participate in Small Business 365.

VOLUNTEER on Day of Caring (Washington County's Single Largest Volunteer Effort).

Form a team of volunteers to wrap gifts during our Holiday Gift Wrapping at Valley Mall (Black Friday - Christmas Eve).

Donate school supplies for Fill The Bus (August 16th & 17th at Wal-Mart).

ADVOCATE about the needs of your community at one of our Community Conversations (2020 Tour Dates TBA) or Longest Table events (Sat Sept 14th).

GIVE to United Way (you can donate anytime of the day, set up a reoccuring donation or decide where you'd like your donation to go to).

Attend our Community Impact Grant Awards. Learn more about how United Way funds are distributed and what issues we are working on together, as a community, to address.

Ask us for "UNO", United Way's official piggy bank. Fill up UNO with your lunch or parking change. Donate your change to United Way.
