JOIN THE MOVEMENT, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving, fueled by the power of social media and collaboratioN.
Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community. Everyone gives back in different ways and for different reasons, including us! Follow your own passion and pledge to give a part of your time, talents, or treasure back in whatever way motivates you at GIVING TUESDAY.
Join the movement! Here's how you can participate!
1.) DONATE on #GivingTuesday. CLICK HERE to donate to United Way. In the designation field, please select "Giving Tuesday".
2.) TUNE IN to WDVM-TV to learn more about how United Way, together with your support, is investing in our future and making a difference in Washington County.
From 5PM - 11:30PM Weis Markets and WDVM will be hosting a DAY OF GIVING TELETHON on Giving Tuesday, to support your United Way!

Facebook and PayPal will match donations eligible for US-based nonprofits starting at 8am ET on December 3rd and continue matching until the $7 million runs out!
