2020 Residential Homeowner Project Application

The application deadline is July 01, 2020.

An eligible applicant must be a Washington County resident, own the home requesting work to be performed on and meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • 55 years of age or older

  • Physically disabled

  • Low-income

  • Military veteran

 

Priority projects will be those focused on safety: fall prevention, accessibility and fire safety. 
COVID-19 UPDATE: 
Please keep in mind that no more than 10 volunteers will be dispatched to your site. We will follow recommendations from the CDC and the Governor's orders to ensure the health and safety of all involved. We will only consider outdoor projects. 

Examples include:

  • Stair repair

  • Grab bar and handrail installation

  • Installing adequate lighting

  • Househld organization / re-arranging 

  • Cleaning & Landscaping (outdoor)

  • Cleaning (indoor) 

  • Smoke detector checks / installation 

  • Other tasks to be considered
