FY19 Letter of Intent Process

United Way of Washington County, MD (UWWC) invites Health and Human Service, 501 (c) 3 organizations serving Washington County residents to submit a Letter of Interest to apply for Community Impact Grant for FY19 (July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019). Consistent with our Funding Statement, UWWC will strategically approach the education of our community through funding collaborative and evidence-based programs focusing on healthy life styles and basis needs. The Community Impact Committee will review all Letters of Intent for consistency with UWWC Focus Areas (Education and Basic Needs), agency and program alignment with UWWC, collaborative efforts, program effectiveness and fiscal efficiency.

Submit a Letter of Intent Today

Only online letter of intent submissions will be accepted and they must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. on November 14, 2017.

There will be no exceptions to this due date or submitting an online application.

FY19 Community Impact Grant - Calendar of Events

October 24, 2017 - Letter of Intent Released
November 14, 2017 - Letter of Intent Due by 10:00 a.m.
December 1, 2017 - Request for Proposal (RFP) Released
December 5, 2017 - Mandatory Pre-proposal Training at 8:30 a.m.**
December 7, 2017 - Mandatory Pre-proposal Training at 2:30 p.m.**
January 12, 2018 - Grant Applications Due by 10:00 a.m.*
January - June 2018 - Community Impact Grant Review Process
March 14-15, 2018 - Applicant Presentation (Times to be determined at a later date)
June 2018 - Grant Awards Announced

*NOTE: No exceptions will be made. Any application received after 10:00 a.m. on January 12, 2018 will not be considered in this funding cycle.

**NOTE: A representative from your organization MUST attend one of these two sessions to be eligible to apply.
