United Way strives to implement dynamic approaches towards
its mission of providing opportunities, addressing vital issues
and improving lives for all citizens. As the economy and social
environment changes, United Way continues to strengthen existing
partnerships within the community while developing new ones in order
to assess where help is most needed.
Traditionally, United Way is known for its fundraising campaign where giving is made simple through payroll deduction within employee campaigns and individuals respond to an annual mail appeal. However, the United Way of today does more than just raise funds.
