Welcome Letter to Board of Directors

Thank you for volunteering to serve on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Washington County. By "Living United" our board and staff work together to change the economic and social conditions that most adversely affect the lives of the citizens in our community.

As president of the board, I challange you to "give, advocate and volunteer"! These three goals are the best way you can help improve YOUR community. United Way works to create long-lasting community change by working with area agencies to address the underlying causes of the most significant issues facing our citizens. As a community leader, I ask you to be an active participant in our United Way family. Our goal is "Living United" as we work together to create long-lasting changes in our community today to prevent tomorrow's problems.
